Virkon · Farm Biosecurity
Virkon S is a powerful, broad-spectrum and multipurpose virucidal disinfectant that is flexible and safe to use. Composition: a balanced, stabilized blend of peroxygen, surfactant, organic acids, and an inorganic buffer system. It can be used for surface, water, and aerial disinfection even in the presence of livestock when used at the correct dilution rate. Applications include equipment disinfection, terminal water system disinfection, foot and wheel dip (1 kg: 100 L), misting/aerial disinfection with or without animals (1 kg: 200 L), and drinking water disinfection (1 kg: 1,000 L). EFICUR® · Livestock Health
EFICUR® 50 mg/mL suspension for injection. Pharmacotherapeutic group: antibacterial for systemic use (ATCvet code QJ01DA90). Ceftiofur is a late-generation cephalosporin active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, thereby exerting bactericidal properties. Indication: treatment of bacterial respiratory disease in swine associated with Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, and Streptococcus suis. Each mL contains ceftiofur (as hydrochloride) 50 mg. Supplier: HIPRA.
Fostera® · Swine Health
Fostera® PRRS is a porcine reproductive & respiratory syndrome vaccine labeled to minimize the impacts of both reproductive and respiratory diseases, helping protect the breeding herd and growing pigs. This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy swine one day of age or older in porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus-positive herds against reproductive disease caused by PRRS virus. A duration of immunity of at least 26 weeks has been demonstrated against respiratory disease, and at least 19 weeks against reproductive disease in swine vaccinated pre-breeding.
